IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION FOR THE RIDGE MAGNETIC POWER BANK

At Ridge, we prioritize quality and product safety in all our products. When using this product, always follow these safety instructions to reduce the risk of fire, injury, or damage:

  1. Supervision & Children: Close supervision is necessary when the power bank is used near or by children. This product contains small parts and may be achoking hazard. Not intended for children under 3 years old.

  2. Disassembly & Modifications: Never disassemble, open, microwave, incinerate, paint, or insert foreign objects into the power bank. Avoid cleaning with harmful chemicals or detergents. For repairs, take the product to a qualified service person. Improper handling or reassembly may result in fire or injury.

  3. Visible Damage & Misuse: Do not use the power bank if it shows visible defects, or if it has been exposed to water, damage, or modifications. Misuse, dropping, or excessive force may cause damage, leading to potential fire or injury.

  4. Compatibility: Ensure your device is MagSafe-compatible or use a suitable magnetic attachment for secure charging. Do not force the power bank onto non-compatible devices, as improper alignment may affect charging efficiency. The power bank may not be compatible with all phone cases, depending on the thickness. Additionally, the magnetic feature will only work with MagSafe-compatible cases.

  5. Charging Conditions & Heat Generation: Only use the integrated charging cord to charge the power bank. A charging block is not included. Please use a compatible USB-C adapter (recommended 18W or higher). The power bank generates heat during charging. Always charge in a well-ventilated area, keeping it away from pillows, blankets, bags, purses, and flammable surfaces. Excessive heat or improper usage may slow charging speed or cause damage.

  6. Overload & Short Circuit: Do not exceed the rated output of the power bank. Store the product away from conductive objects, such  as coins, paperclips, and keys. Do not insert any metal objects into the USB output port or joining terminals of the power bank.  Overloading or short-circuiting can cause fire or injury.

  7. Use, Storage & Exposure: Only use the power bank in dry, indoor locations. The ideal operating temperature is between 32°F and 95°F (0°C and 35°C) for the power bank and between 32°F and 104°F (0°C and 40°C) for the wireless charger. Store in a cool, dry place and avoid hot or humid environments. If unused for extended periods, charge and discharge the product once every three months. Do not expose it to fire or temperatures exceeding 212°F (100°C), as this can cause an explosion.

  8. Charging Speed & Battery Performance: The charging speed of the power bank may be slower depending on the phone case and placement on the charger. For optimal performance, charge in environments below 77°F (25°C). Avoid leaving your power bank on prolonged charge as this may cause it to overheat.Battery performance naturally declines over time, typically after 2-3 years or 300-1,000 full charge cycles, depending on usage. To extend its lifespan, avoid deep discharges, excessive heat, and storing the device at a full charge for extended periods.

  9. Disposal:  Do not dispose of the power bank in household or general waste. Do not dispose of the product in heat or fire. When disposing of batteries, separate different types and insulate terminals to prevent fire or smoke. Follow local electronic waste disposal regulations to properly recycle the battery.

  10. Use of Magnets: The power bank contains magnets that may interfere with medical devices such as pacemakers or defibrillators. Keep the power bank at least 6 inches (15 cm) away from any implanted medical devices to avoid potential interference. If you have a medical device, consult your healthcare provider for further guidance on safe use.
